Savòr is a sweet preserve typical of the Modenese peasant tradition, made from grape must in which seasonal fruit is cooked. It has a dark color and an intense flavor. The origins of this condiment are lost in the mists of time; in fact, it seems that even the ancient Romans prepared this mixture of fruit boiled in must to put on meat or other foods.
