The Ortrugo DOC dei Colli Piacentini Spago - 2019 vintage - is produced by the Il Poggiarello farm and is a typical wine from Piacenza with a registered trademark. It is a white, semi-sparkling DOC wine, ideal for accompanying your appetizers, pasta, risottos, and fish. Its fresh aroma and sparkle make it an excellent, refreshing, and crisp wine. Ampelographic Composition: 100% Ortrugo, an indigenous grape variety from the province of Piacenza Soil Type: Medium-textured, sub-alkaline, slightly calcareous, with deep veins of sodium sulfate. Grape Yield: 80/90 quintals/ha Production Technology: After a 24-hour cold maceration on the skins and fermentation with selected yeasts at a temperature of 16°C, the wine is placed in an autoclave where a slow re-fermentation completes its fragrance, giving it a delicate petillant.
