Also known as the tree of heaven, Ailanthus is a plant of Chinese origin that has been present in Italy for some centuries now and is by now naturalized in our territory. Ailanthus honey is soft to the touch, with bright amber reflections. It evolves into a creamy paste very slowly. Aroma: intense and fresh, with balsamic notes, spiced vanilla, and caramel. Taste: nuances of flowers and beeswax, followed by delicate and persistent notes of balsamic and dried fruit.
