Sweet and sour pickled vegetables: an explosion of flavor

Artisanal Giardiniera of mixed vegetables in sweet and sour brine. Peppers, carrots, celery, onions, cauliflower, and green beans, combined in an explosion of fresh, authentic flavor and preserved in vacuum-sealed glass jars. From Cascina Pizzavacca, a traditional local specialty. Vegetables are hand-cut, cooked, and preserved using a special process passed down through generations. The giardiniera keeps for many months in its own sweet and sour liquid, which gives it a unique flavor. Pair with cured meats and cheeses, but also perfect enjoyed on its own. Azienda Agricola Pizzavacca: production of vegetable sauces and oil-preserved vegetables, jams, and fruit nectars, starting from raw materials grown in the field.
