Cecco represents the simplicity and authenticity of the people of Piacenza.\r\n\r\nFrom the prized Barbera, Croatina and Cabernet grapes comes the red wine IGT Emilia Cecco.\r\n\r\nThe grapes for this wine are harvested by hand. Subsequently, a part of the grapes is harvested late, in order to have a high percentage of sugar.\r\n\r\nThe grapes are pressed and then refined in barriques. At the end of the ageing process, the perfect combination is obtained.\r\n\r\nBright and lively ruby red in colour, it has notes of red fruits and hints of wood on the nose. On the palate, the wine is agile and fresh, ensuring a pleasant drink and the right length of taste.\r\n\r\nThis wine should be served at room temperature (14-16 degrees) and goes perfectly with elaborate first courses, with meat or mushroom sauces. It is also perfect with meat dishes and mature cheeses.\r\n\r\nThe \"Il Poggiarello\" winery produces wines in the village of Scrivellano, nestled in the hills of the Trebbia Valley.
